Valli Produce is a family-owned grocery store with locations all over the Chicago area. Its roots run deep and far, all the way back to Italy. Valli is a small farm town in Calabria, Italy, where founder Alfredo Presta grew up. From an early age, Alfredo learned that he loved caring for others and providing a helping hand to anyone who needs one.

After coming to the United States, Alfredo knew that he wanted to provide the people of Chicago with fresh, wholesome produce like he’d grown up on in Italy. And without any formal education or training, Alfredo opened up Valli Produce in 1977 and has been in business ever since.
